NEWS & PROMOTIONS:
3/1/12: Conestoga dpi has completed training and is now a HP Ecosolutions printing company. This certification identifies Conestoga dpi to clients and the industry as one that uses HP Latex Printing Technologies, and that has been trained by HP to print with environment in mind.
10/1/11: Conestoga dpi added a 60" HP Designjet L25500. This printer uses state of the art, Eco-friendly technology, utilizing latex inks, which are odorless and emit extremely low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Job production is streamlined and overall productivity is improved because prints are dry and ready to display, finish, or prepare for shipment right out of the printer. In addition to the HP Designjet L25500, we are now offering several new materials, including PVC free wallpaper and fully recyclable banner vinyls and fabrics.
6/15/11: Conestoga dpi completes window display mural for Lancaster PA non-profit Music for Everyone. The installation is the first of 3 art installations in the area across from Binns Park near the Brunswick Hotel. The design was collaboration with the Creative House of Lancaster and Pennsylvania College of Art and Design. This is the 3rd large scale mural installation by us in the past year.
3/11/11: Conestoga dpi hosted a Manheim Chamber mixer on 3.10.11 and enjoyed the company of over 30 guests throughout the evening. Highlighted during the event were some of Conestoga dpi’s abilities to produce large format graphics used for trade show displays, vehicle wraps and point of purchase displays. Green production methods and materials were also part of the evenings discussions which focused on recyclable and biodegradable materials that can be used as alternatives to traditional signage production. Guests were treated to some of the best wine in the area from Waltz Vineyards as well as fine crafted micro-brewed beer form JoBoy’s Brew Pub.
2/8/11: Conestoga dpi teams up with the Launch Music Conference and Festival as the signage, banner and graphic provider for this growing Central PA music event. As a third year sponsor of this event we have seen a great idea turn into the region’s best music showcase now including 225 performing bands and musicians. We are also excited to be included with such great national music sponsors as Coca-Cola, Best Buy Music, Labatt Blue and Atomic Design. This event starts April 24th so come to downtown Lancaster and treat yourself to some amazing music. We’ll also be exhibiting our Amp Art custom speaker grills and Rock/Drops stage backdrop systems at the trade show.
12/15/10: Conestoga dpi expands laminating capabilities with the addition of the GFP-400 65” heated roll laminator. This super wide laminator enables Conestoga dpi to produces seamless prints 65” wide for more attractive vehicle wraps and large format prints. The heated roll option preheats the lamination softening the adhesive that results in richer blacks and more vibrant colors.
7/15/10: Lancaster’s Drums ETC store updates exterior with a large scale wall mural by Conestoga dpi. The mural measuring 14’ wide x 10’ tall is to help promote the store’s focus on music, learning, performance and the excitement of live music. Conestoga dpi’s Shawn O’Neal worked with Drums ETC from concept through photography and installation to complete the project. Located on New Holland Ave, Lancaster PA near The Lancaster Science Factory and The Cork Factory Hotel, Drum’s ETC is the largest percussion focused music store in the region.
6/23/10: Lebanon Valley Mall anchors new tenant and entrance with a 24’ wall mural by Conestoga dpi. Lebanon Valley Mall wanted to do more than just add a new entrance, they wanted to showcase the space as well as promote their valued tenants. LVM’s marketing representative Victoria Blouch turned to the design team at Conestoga dpi to help out. The result is a 17’ high x 28” wide mural featuring sports images and sponsors Schuylkill Valley, Boscov’s department stores and Lebanon Valley Mall. The mural was printed on dpi’s 8-color 64” Epson GS-6000 to Phototex wall graphic material.
4/23/10: The Launch Music Conference has come and gone and we are ready to do it again next year. This year we had AmpArt on the main stage at the Lancaster Convention Center as well as a number of large vinyl banners throughout the city to promote this great event. Around 175 bands were in town to learn about the music industry and provide a musical showcase for the Central Pennsylvania music lover.
We launched the RokDrops portable stage backdrop system at this event. RokDrops are an affordable way get the word out about your band. They reach 8’ tall and can be made 8’, 10’ and 12’ widths. We have many pictures from this event on our Facebook page http://bit.ly/aQbZmX.
Earth day was a bit chilly this year but we still had the opportunity to get a few green projects out. We recently produced 20 posters mounted to 100% recycled Falconboard which is a great replacement for foam board. We continue to broaden our green options at Conestoga dpi and as these product become more available their price goes down making them more cost effective. We hope you’ll consider these green options for your next project.2/12/10: With a name like Max Power Challenge II – The Sequel you know it’s something powerful and intense. That’s why Conestoga dpi is excited to be the event graphics provider of this USTA sanctioned tennis tournament. Only the brightest and most intense graphics will do so that’s a perfect setting for Conestoga dpi’s eco-friendly large format banners, signs and digital printing services. This is the second year of this great event held in York PA this year.

10/27/09: We are pleased to announce the installation of a 64" Epson GS6000, which will greatly expand our printing services. The GS6000 is a new industry-defining 8-color solvent-based ink system. With a maximum resolution of 1440 x 1440 dpi and variable-sized droplet technology as small as 3.7 picoliters, the GS6000 offers extreme print image quality. The GS6000 is perfect for outdoor banners, POP advertising, vehicle and fleet graphics, trade show graphics and many other applications.
